This site is dedicated to preserving the memory of all those of the Royal Air Force, Commonwealth Airforces and the United States Army Air Forces who served at RAF Watton and Bodney.
Recorded on these pages are ‘snapshots’ from the remarkable history of RAF Watton in Norfolk, England, and its wartime satellite station, Bodney. The period covered is from 1937 through to the present day.
I have tried to present the information in a way that allows you to walk through the history of the station or just dip into it. Because any article may relate to several sections in the menu it will appear in each. Some sections have subsections so be sure to explore the site fully. You can also use the search facility at the bottom of every page.
Please take a moment to review the Privacy and Copyright pages – they contain important information to protect you and us. Please do get in touch if you can contribute your memories or information about RAF Watton to this site.
